Biography

Biography

I am an Illustrator, educator and modelmaker. A graduate in Fine Art and a professional Modelmaker for nearly twenty years I now teach and work with university students. Having worked in film, theatre, television production, design and higher education I have a wealth of experience and skills. All of my practice work and teaching has been within energetic, professional workshops and studios of various sizes. I have an extensive practical knowledge throughout an active creative environment and I am currently collaborating with illustration, architecture, fine art and modelmaking practitioners on commercial and research projects. I remain a visiting tutor.

Delivering a Modelmaking short course, providing  an introduction to basic modelmaking techniques and processes.
Organising and lecturing on Art Schools for students.


1996 - 2015: Freelance Modelmaker
Project managing, designing and Making character puppets, props and sets.
Projects include animated feature films, broadcast series, commercials,
photography shoots, shop and museum installations, theatre productions and short films.
